The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to decide the petitioner's appeal against an order dated 13.11.2018 passed by the Joint Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo (Import). It is stated that the said appeal was filed on 10.01.2019 and has not been taken up for hearing as yet. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent states that the petitioner's appeal would be considered expeditiously and decided within a period of eight weeks from today.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
