This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the following prayers:- "1. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the petitioner on Parole of three months in FIR No. 887/2006, P.S Punjabi Bagh and

11. Pass any other order or further orders, which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice;" 3.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the latter has filed a representation before the Competent Authority on 08.02.2025 seeking parole on the grounds mentioned in the present petition, however, no decision has been taken by the Competent Authority till date. In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with directions to the Competent Authority to decide the representation of the petitioner within a week from today.
