This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayer(s):- "a. Issue a writ of mandamus or nay other appropriate wit, order or direction directing the Respondent No 1 to consider and decide the Representation dated 12.04.2026 submitted by the Petitioners in light of the Inquiry Report The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. dated 09.05.2026 within a period of 4 weeks;..." 2.

Mr. Kurup, learned senior counsel for the petitioners, states that in the present case, the petitioners are only seeking consideration of representation dated 12.04.2026 made to respondent No.1. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Niyazi, learned standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/CBSE and states that the petitioners have no affiliation with respondent No.1 and hence, indirectly amounts to creating a defense in the FIR registered by respondent No.1 against the petitioners for wrongly showing themselves to be affiliated to CBSE upto Class XII.

I am of the view that the petitioners are only seeking consideration of the representation and all the above can duly be adverted to, while considering the representation. It is also clarified that making the representation will not be a defense or creates any equity in favour of the petitioners. Let the representation of the petitioner be decided in accordance with law.

This order passed today will not create any special equities in favour of the petitioners and the Court has not commented on the merits/ demerits of the case of the petitioners.
