% 21.09.2020 (Video Conference Hearing) MAC.APP. 188/2020 & CM APPLs. 23248-50/2020 The instant appeal is preferred against the award dated 30.01.2020 passed by the Tribunal. The award is for Rs.18,34,000/-with interest. The appellant is pertinently aggrieved of the compensation awarded in the sum of Rs.2,50,000/- under the head of loss of love and affection. Mr. Parashar, ld. Counsel for the respondents/claimants on his part states that he has instructions to concede to the deletion of compensation awarded under the head of loss of love and affection in the sum of Rs.2,50,000/- and that, the impugned award to that extent may be modified. In view of the foregoing submissions, the impugned award dated 30.01.2020 passed by the Tribunal shall stand reduced to the extent of
Rs. 2,50,000/-. Such reduced amount of the award amount shall be apportioned and disbursed in consonance with the other terms of the award. The impugned award of the Tribunal stands modified accordingly. The modified award amount shall be deposited by the appellant with the Tribunal within four weeks from today.
The appeal and the pending applications stand disposed of accordingly.
