The present petition concerns the recruitment process for the post of Junior Judicial Assistant pursuant to Advertisement No. 01/2024. The grievance of the Petitioner is that certain vacancies earmarked for the OBC category have remained unfilled despite completion of the selection process. In this regard, the Petitioner submitted a representation dated 11th May, 2026, which is still pending consideration.

At the outset, counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner confines the relief sought in the present petition to consideration and disposal of the aforesaid representation dated 11th May, 2026. In view thereof, the present petition is disposed of along with pending application with a direction to the Respondents to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 11th May, 2026, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from today.

It is clarified that this Court has not examined the merits of the Petitioner's contentions and all rights and contentions of the parties are left open.

In case the grievance of the Petitioner is not redressed, she shall be at liberty to avail of such remedies as may be available in accordance with law.
