Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India. It is in the nature of habeas corpus as the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to trace out and produce his minor son. According to petitioner, respondent No.2 i.e. mother of the child and their such child are missing since 24.04.2025.

When the petition was taken up by this Court on 01.05.2025, respondent No.2 (wife of the petitioner) and child of the petitioner appeared and since the child had already been produced before this Court, nothing actual speaking, survived in the present petition but in order to make an attempt to save the family and to settle the disputes between the parties amicably, they were referred to Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre.

The report received from Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre indicates that since the parties failed to turn up, there could not be any mediation and, therefore, the matter has been sent back as 'non-starter'. 4.

No one has appeared from the side of petitioner, despite the fact that the matter was passed over. On the last date also, there was no appearance from the side of petitioner.

Fact, however, remains that the grievance raised in the present petition does not exist anymore and, quite obviously, in view of above, it seems that the petitioner is also no longer interested in pursuing his present petition. 6.
