The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the interim bail granted to the petitioner by virtue of the order dated 03.09.2020 passed by the learned ASJ be extended till 31.10.2020. 3.

The petitioner had filed an application before the learned Sessions Court seeking similar relief but the same was rejected by an order dated 14.09.2020.

Mr Gulati, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that although the correct procedure would have been for the petitioner to challenge that order, nonetheless since the period of bail has already expired, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking extension of bail. requests that the present petition be treated as a revision petition against the order dated 14.09.2020 passed by the learned ASJ. 5.

He further submits that in terms of the order dated 24.08.2020 passed by the Full Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) 3037/2020 captioned 'Court on its Own Motion v. State & Ors.', all interim orders including orders granting interim bail are directed to be extended till 31.10.2020. 6.

In view of the above, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. The interim bail granted to the petitioner by virtue of the order dated 03.09.2020 passed by the learned trial court is extended till 31.10.2020 on the same terms and conditions as set out in that order. 7.
