These are the applications on behalf of the petitioners under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner in Bail Appn. No.1398/2019, Sneh Lata @ Pappy, is the sister-in-law of the deceased, whereas the petitioner in Bail Appn. No.1397/2019, Sudhir Kumar is the husband of Sneh

Lata @ Pappy. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submitted that this Court, vide order dated 12.6.2019, granted interim bail to the petitioners till today. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submitted that the husband of the deceased has already been granted anticipatory bail by the Sessions Court vide order dated 3.5.2019 and that order has not been challenged by the State so far.

Learned APP submitted that the State has already filed the status report. Learned APP, on the query of the Court, further submitted that the petitioners have joined the investigation and are co-operating.

Hence, taking into consideration the aforesaid facts, I deem it appropriate to allow the anticipatory bail applications and in case of their arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail, subject to their furnishing personal bonds in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each, with one surety each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the IO/SHO and further subject to the conditions that the petitioners shall neither prejudice the prosecution nor shall tamper with the evidence and also shall not influence the witnesses in any manner. In case any complaint is received against the petitioners, the State may move an application and Court may pass appropriate orders.

The anticipatory bail applications are disposed of in the above terms.
