The present petition raises a grievance as regards alleged unauthorized construction in the back portion of the property bearing no.513, Gurudwara Road, Village Khairpur, Kotla Mubarakpur, New Delhi110003. 2.

Learned counsel for the MCD, who appears on advance notice submits that the property in question shall be inspected within a period of one week from today and if any unauthorized construction is found to be subsisting therein, steps shall be taken to remove the same in accordance The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. with law. Further, if any unauthorized construction is currently ongoing, urgent steps shall be taken to bring the same to an immediate halt in accordance with law.

Needless to say, the above will be subject to the statutory rights and remedies of the owner/occupier of the property in question. 4.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition at this stage and the same is accordingly disposed of.

Needless to say, if there is any deficiency in the action taken by the MCD, the petitioner shall be entitled to take appropriate remedies under law.
