The paragraph no. 6 of the short-affidavit filed by respondents-Union of India indicates that the period of black-listing is already over on 08.04.2026. The paragraph 6 is extracted as under: "6. That it is further clarified that the 180 days stay stipulation means that cumulative stay of a foreign national in a calendar year (starting 1st January every year) should not exceed 180 days in India regardless of his number of entries in India. If the stay exceeds beyond 180 days, then the foreigner is required to register himself with the jurisdictional FRRO. FRRO in order to hoodwink the immigration/local authorities for his ulterior motives and to avoid penal action. For his above actions the Petitioner has been blacklisted under the appropriate category as per the relevant blacklisting guidelines on 08.04.2024. His blacklisting is due to expire on 08.04.2026."

In view thereof, the petitioner is granted liberty to file application before the concerned Authority for issuance of appropriate visitor's Visa. If such an application is filed, let the same be considered in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition, along with pending applications, stands disposed of.
