The Petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers: a) Direct the said Ld. Authority/Tribunal to pass appropriate order in the Application dated 07.07.2020 pending before it in the interest of justice; b) Direct the Respondent No. 3 & 4 to handover the possession of the said residential flat to the Petitioner; c) Direct the Respondent No.3 & 4 to pay the maintenance amount for their parents;

The matter is pending before the authority constituted under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Learned ASC appearing for the GNCTD states that the next date of hearing of the matter before the authority is 05.08.2024. 4.

Since the matter is under consideration before the authority, this Court is not inclined to pass any directions to the authority to give a preferential treatment to the Petitioner and expedite his case. However, the authority is requested to decide the case of the Petitioner keeping in mind the spirit of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. 5.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, along with pending application(s), if any.
