The Petitioner is the Complainant and had lodged a complaint, which was registered as FIR No. 360/2018 under Sections 420, 406, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at P.S. Geeta Colony. 2.

The grievance of the Petitioner is that, despite the registration of the FIR, no meaningful investigation has been carried out, and the Petitioner has not been informed of the progress in the case. Accordingly, the present petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the State to conclude the investigation and take appropriate action against the accused persons.

As per the status report filed by the State in compliance with the directions of this Court, the investigation is now at the final stage. prosecution. It is stated that a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C shall be filed within a period of four weeks from today. 4.

In view of the aforesaid developments, no further directions are called for at this stage. All rights and contentions of the Petitioner are left open. If the Petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of the investigation, he shall be at liberty to pursue appropriate legal remedies before the Trial Court, in accordance with law.
