This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- "A. Pass an appropriate writ, order or direction thereby quashing the impugned notices dated 05.05.2026 issued by Respondent no. 3 and 15.05.2026 issued by Respondent no.1;

B. Pass an appropriate writ, order or direction restraining the Respondents, their officers, agents and all persons acting on their behalf from undertaking demolition, dispossession, sealing, eviction or coercive action against The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Mr. Kapoor, learned senior counsel for the petitioners, draws my attention to the impugned Public Notice dated 15.05.2026, which reads as under:- The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

He states that a perusal of the public notice, reproduced above, shows that the respondent is seeking vacation of the land and also seeking representation/ objections and has in fact pre-judged the issue. 4.

Mr. Kapoor, learned senior counsel, states that the petitioners have been in possession for the last more than 200 years. 5.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Ms. Kaur, learned standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 1/ DDA. Mr. Pathak, learned standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 2 to 4.

Ms. Kaur, learned standing counsel for the DDA, states that the petitioners were given hearings.

It is admitted case that the petitioners are on Zone-O/the riverbank. 9.

I am of the view that once the objections are called from the petitioners, the same must be adjudicated and thereafter, the respondents are at liberty to take appropriate action including evictions of the petitioners, in accordance with law. 10.

With these directions, the present petition is disposed of, along with pending applications, if any.
