The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter the 'Act') for appointment of an Arbitrator.

It is not disputed that the parties had entered into a Lease Agreement dated 13.03.2009 and the Security Deposit Agreement dated 16.09.2009. The petitioner states that disputes have arisen in relation to the said agreements. Accordingly, the petitioner had invoked the arbitration clauses under both the said agreements by a letter dated 02.01.2015. The respondent has no objection if an arbitrator is appointed for adjudicating the disputes between the parties.

With the consent of the parties, it is directed that a sole Arbitrator be appointed under the Rules of the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). The representatives of the parties shall appear before the coordinator, DIAC on 05.102.016 at 11:00 AM. The arbitration shall be conducted under the aegis of DIAC and in accordance with its Rules.

The petition is disposed of.
