CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRATEEK JALAN

O R D E R

% 29.05.2026 1.

By way of this revision petition under Section 438 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner assails an order dated 12.05.2026, by which the Sessions Court rejected an application made by the petitioner seeking permission to travel overseas for a vacation for a period of around four months from 16.05.2026 to 13.09.2026. 2.

After some hearing, Mr. Anurag Bhatt, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this petition, without prejudice to the petitioner's right to approach the Sessions Court for permission to travel abroad in future.

3.

The petition is therefore dismissed as withdrawn, in terms of the above submission. If any such application is made, it may be considered by the Sessions Court on its own merit.

4.

It may be noted that Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned Standing Counsel for Directorate of Enforcement, who appears on advance notice, submits that a revision petition against the aforesaid order is not maintainable. As the petition has been withdrawn, I do not consider it necessary to address this issue at this stage.

5.

It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation on the merits of any such future application.
