None is present on behalf of respondent no.3. On 02.12.2025, respondent nos. 3 and 4 were granted time to file the counter affidavit, failing which right to file the counter affidavit on behalf of the said respondents, was to be forfeited.

There does not seem to be any counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent no.3.

Let the petitioners to file a detailed representation along with the copy of the instant petition before the concerned Excise Department, who shall deal with the petitioners' grievance in accordance with law. 5.

Let the petitioners' grievance be dealt with by the concerned department and to pass a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of the representation to be filed by the petitioner. 6.

Needless to state that if the grievance of the petitioners is not fully mitigated, they shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
