These petitions have been filed challenging the Orders passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as the, 'Tribunal'), whereby, the learned Tribunal has observed that the punishment of dismissal from service imposed on the respondents was disproportionate to the allegations levelled against the respondents and, therefore, need to be reconsidered by the Competent Authorities of the petitioners. 2.
In the present case, the allegations levelled against the respondents were that they had failed to carry out the verification exercise required of them, and on basis of which, Indian passports were issued to various applicants, some of whom were later found to be, in fact, Afghan nationals.

Without entering into the merits of the challenge or the defence of the respondents, and keeping in view the submission of the learned counsels for the respondents that the other pleas of the respondents were not considered by the learned Tribunal in passing the Impugned Orders, with the consent of the learned counsels for the parties, we set aside the Impugned Orders and remand the matter back to the learned The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
Tribunal for a fresh determination. In such determination, all the pleas of the parties shall remain open.

The O.A.(s) are restored back to their original number. The parties shall appear before the learned Tribunal on 17.12.2025. 5.
Keeping in view the fact that the proceedings were pending adjudication before the learned Tribunal for a long period, we request the learned Tribunal to expedite the hearing of these O.A.(s). 6.
The petitions, along with pending applications, are disposed of in the above terms.
