passed by the Court on 19.07.2024, work order was placed on M/s. S.N. Malhotra and Sons on 25.06.2024 for carrying out the work of development of road in Village Bamnoli in Dwarka-C in Ward No. 130/NGZ and the work was to be completed by 24.10.2024, however, due to unavoidable circumstances, there has been a delay in completion of the awarded work. In the meanwhile, online permission for road cutting was sought from IGL as work of laying IGL pipeline was in progress. Learned counsel assures that the road work will be completed within a maximum period of six weeks from today as the work of laying down the IGL pipelines stands concluded. It is also submitted that in addition, the work with respect to drainage system shall also be completed at the earliest and drains will be connected to the main drainage system.

3.

Stand of MCD is taken on record that the work of construction and repair of the road in question for Village Bamnoli as also with respect to the drainage system is on going and will be concluded expeditiously. No further order is required to be passed in this writ petition at this stage. Needless to state in case of any surviving/further grievance, Petitioner will be at liberty to take recourse to legal remedies.

4.

Writ petition along with pending applications stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
