The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, read with Section 528 of the BNSS, seeks the following prayers: - "a. Issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, quashing the impugned externment order No. 18861907/Externment Cell/Addl. DCP (I)/RD, dated 25.05.2026, passed by the Respondent No. 2.

b. Issue an ad-interim ex-parte order staying the operation, implementation, and execution of the impugned externment order No. 1886-1907/Externment Cell/Addl. DCP (D/RD, dated 25.05.2026, during the pendency of the present petition.

c. Pass any other or further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

Delhi Police Act, 1978 is appealable under Section 51 of the said act, before the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor.

Admittedly, the petitioner has not availed of the said remedy. 5.

In these circumstances, the present petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to avail the statutory remedy available under Section 51 of the Delhi Police Act, 1978.
