By virtue of the present petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs: - "A. Issue a writ of MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, directing the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (Respondent No. 2), to forthwith take up O.A. No. 4927/2025 (Gopal KishanSoti vs. Union of India &Ors.) and decide and dispose of the same within a period of 10 (TEN) DAYS from the date of receipt of the order of this Hon'ble Court; and/or B. Direct the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, to decide O.A. No. 4927/2025 in terms of and in light of the binding judgment of this Hon'ble Court dated 23.01.2025 in Paras Ram Kakkar vs. Union of India &Ors. [W.P.(C) No.
6766/2022], which directly and squarely covers the Petitioner's case; and/or C. Direct the Respondents No. 1, 3, 4, and 5 not to take any steps adverse to the Petitioner's service and retirement rights pending disposal of the present Writ Petition; and/or The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
D. Pass such other or further order(s), writ(s), or direction(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit, just, and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice." 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 4 accepts notice. He submits that since the petitioner has approached the learned CAT only in December, 2025 and since then the matter has been heard on all occasions, thus, considering the timeline involved there is no reasonfor this Court to allow the present petition.

Although, this Court is not inclined to direct the learned CAT to dispose of the O.A. no. 4927/2025 in a time bound manner, however, the learned CAT is requested to try and dispose of the aforesaid matter as expeditiously as possible, albeit, considering its own daily listing and the pendency.

The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 6.
