Learned APP for the State submitted that the proceedings under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code, 1973 cannot be quashed in view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in Criminal Appeal No.14/2019 titled as State of Madhya Pradesh v. Kalyan Singh & Ors. passed on 4.1.2019.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the writ petition. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending application is also dismissed as withdrawn.
