By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), the petitioner seeks quashing of the notice to join enquiry bearing Complaint No.LC-722/SHO, Paschim Vihar East dated 23.04.2026 issued by respondent no.1 against the petitioner. 2.

At the outset, Learned ASC for the State, without adverting to the merits, submits that since the notice to the petitioner had only been issued to join enquiry, there is no reason for the petitioner to approach this Court for seeking direction qua quashing of the same. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already responded to the notice of enquiry on 06.05.2026. 4.

Be that as it may, learned ASC for the State submits that the petitioner can join enquiry proceedings through video conferencing within a period of two weeks.

Since there is nothing remaining herein, the petitioner is directed to join and participate in inquiry through video conferencing on 15.06.2026/16.05.2026 at 10:30 A.M.

In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to seek appropriate remedies, if as and when required, in accordance with law. 7.
