O R D E R

% 31.01.2017 This petition seeks quashing of FIR No. 662/2015, P.S. Mayur Vihar pursuant to a settlement between the parties which has resulted in a divorce by consent between the parties vide order dated 02.07.2016 which itself has recorded that respondent No. 2 Ms. Meenakshi Solanki @ Minni would withdraw her complaint.

Respondent No. 2 is present in the Court today. She has been identified by Mr. Imran Khan, the learned counsel for the petitioner and S.I. Dheer Singh, P.S. Mayur Vihar. Photocopy of her Identify Card has been signed by her and has been taken on record. Ms. Meenakshi Solanki confirms that she has received the remaining

amount of Rs.1,50,000/- in cash. She states that she does not wish to pursue any proceeding emanating from FIR No. 662/2015, P.S. Mayur Vihar.

In the circumstances, the FIR No. 662/2015, P.S. Mayur Vihar, Phase-1 under Section 498-A/406/34 IPC and other proceedings emanating from the aforesaid FIR are hereby quashed. The petition is allowed in the above terms.
