By virtue of the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:- "(a) a Civil Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for seeking direction to Respondent No.2 to update/ include/ reflect the name of the Petitioner Institution, in the list being maintained by the Respondent No.2 on its website, containing names/ details of institutions recognised for running the B.Ed. course; and (b) a Civil Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for seeking consequent direction to Respondent No.2 to communicate the updated/ recognised status of the Petitioner Institution, to its Affiliating Body and the State Department of Higher Education, for the purpose of counselling for the academic session 2026-27, forthwith;

(c) pass any such other orders/directions as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel for the respondents accepts notice. He submits that the representation of the petitioner will be decided within a period of two weeks from today.

The decision on the representation of the petitioner institute, subject to verification, shall be communicated to the affiliating body as well as the concerned department of the State Government and shall also be updated on the website immediately.

The present petition is allowed and disposed of in aforesaid terms.
