As per the previous order dated 17th October, 2022, the IO was to verify the factum of the death of the appellant. Status report in this regard verifies that appellant, Surender passed away on 13th March, 2022; the death certificate is filed on the record of this Court.

Counsel for appellant states on instructions that no one is perusing this appeal any further, therefore, the appeal stands abated. 3.

As regards the civil liability of Rs.1,59,750/- it has already been met, and a receipt of dated 17th August, 2015 is on record. 4.

Counsel for respondent no.2, BSES confirms the same. 5.

The appeal is, therefore, disposed of.
