This is a fresh petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 seeking to set aside the Order dated 05.03.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-05, (ASJ) East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, vide which while admitting the appeal of the petitioner, he was directed to deposit 20% of the fine/compensation amount within 60 days from the date of the order in favour of the respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is limiting his prayer in the present petition to seek the relief that time period for depositing the said amount be extended.

In these circumstances, let the petitioner deposit 20% of the amount, as directed by the learned ASJ vide impugned Order dated 05.03.2025 within another six weeks from today.
