% 27.05.2024 Pursuant to a copy of the last order having been served upon the respondent, Mr. Nikhil Rastogi, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent via video-conferencing.

Upon being queried, Mr. Rastogi submits, that they were not averse to a consensual extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator as contemplated under section 29A(3) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 ('A&C Act').

The last mandate of the learned Arbitrator is stated to have been expired on 26.04.2024.

In the circumstances, it appears that the present petition is premature inasmuch as the parties have yet to grant consensual extension of mandate to the learned Arbitrator as contemplated under section 29A(3) of the A&C Act.

Upon a conspectus of the averments contained in the petition, the stance taken by the respondent, and the submissions made at the Bar, O.M.P. the petition is disposed-of by only recording that the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended, by consent of the parties under section 29A(3) of the A&C Act, for a period of 06 months with effect from 27.04.2024.
