This is an application seeking condonation of delay. For the reasons stated in the application, the delay is condoned. Application is disposed of. O.M.P. (MISC.) 16/2024 3.

The present petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner/Claimant-M/s National Commodities under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the ld. Arbitral Tribunal.

January, 2016 (hereinafter, 'Agreement'). Subsequently, the Petitioner sent a legal notice dated 30th December, 2019 invoking arbitration under Section 21 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 per Clause 20 of the Agreement. Vide order dated 11th August, 2021 passed by this Court, an arbitrator was appointed to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. The ld. Arbitrator entered reference and the matter is pending. 5.

A perusal of the proceeding sheets of the ld. Arbitrator would show that the matter is at the stage of cross-examination of the claimants' witnesses.

Advance copy of the petition is served. However there is no appearance. In view of the above, the mandate is extended by another 9 months.
