Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners seeking protection from Respondent Nos.3 to 6, who are family members of Petitioner No.1.

It is submitted in the Petition that Petitioners had known each other since 2015 and they got married on 26.05.2026, according to Muslim rites and customs, but they are being traced with constant threats from Respondent Nos.3 to 6, who are family members of Petitioner No.1. Hence, Police protection has been sought.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State appears on advance Notice and accepts Notice.
