A Civil Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for quashing and setting aside the impugned Refusal Order dated 24.04.2026 of Western Regional committee and for directions to the Respondents to conduct inspection of Petitioner Institute and to decide its Application for recognition of conversion/ transition of existing 4 year integrated B.A. B.Ed/B.Sc. B.Ed to ITEP course from present academic session 2026-27.

Learned counsel for the Respondent objects to the prayers sought in the present Petition. However, on a query posed, he fairly accepts that his objections were considered in W.P (C)4860/2026 and vide common Order dated 29.05.2026, the Petitions were allowed. 3.

is set aside. As such, the Respondents shall conduct inspection of the Petitioner Institute within a period of three weeks from today and shall thereafter take all appropriate and necessary steps to ensure that the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya vs. State of U.P. (2013) 2 CC 617 are scrupulously complied with. The entire exercise, including the issuance of Show Cause Notice pointing out the deficiencies, furnishing of their replies, the adjudication of those show cause notices, and all other ancillary activities connected therewith/ flowing therefrom shall be completed on or before 15.07.2026 for the forthcoming Academic Session 2026-2027. Let a copy of the Inspection Report be also supplied to the Petitioners. 4.
The present Petition, along with the pending Applications, stands disposed of accordingly.
