This is a petition filed under Section 29A(3) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months.

It is stated that the evidence is completed and the matter is listed for final hearing.

As per affidavit of service, the respondents have been served, but there is nobody appearing on their behalf.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today to make and publish the award.

The period from 20.04.2023 till today stands regularised. 6.

The petition is disposed of.
