1. The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks to assail the order dated 09.05.2012 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal) in OA No.1050/2012. The petitioner also seeks to assail the order dated 01.08.2012 passed by the learned Tribunal in RA No.231/2012.

2. At the outset, we have put to learned counsel for the petitioner as to how the present petition, which is grossly barred by delay and laches, can be entertained. He fairly submits that he is conscious of this legal position but prays that the present petition be treated as a mercy petition on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Having perused the impugned order, we find that that the petitioner's claim for enhanced pay scale at par with artists working in other organizations was rejected by the learned Tribunal after taking into account all relevant facts. We, therefore, find no infirmity in the impugned order.

4. In our considered view, no case is made out to entertain such a belated challenge to an order passed by the learned Tribunal, with which we otherwise also find no infirmity.
