This application has been filed by the applicant seeking reduction of the personal bond amount and the number of sureties, as were directed to be furnished as a condition for being released on bail, vide Judgment dated 02.05.2024.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant belongs to the lowest strata of the society and is surviving on the aid and help from the members of the civil society and moreover, he has four minor children and a wife to support.

Keeping in view the submission made, the condition of releasing the applicant on bail is modified to the limited extent that instead of furnishing a personal bond of Rs. 50,000/- with two sureties of like amount, the applicant be released on bail on furnishing personal bond of Rs.25,000/-, along with just one surety of the like amount. The other conditions of bail, as stipulated by the judgment dated 02.05.2024, shall continue.
