The present petition has been filed by the petitioner raising a grievance as regards alleged unauthorized construction being raised over the property bearing No.1961, Katra Lachhu Singh, H.C. Sain Road, Delhi110006. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1/MCD, who appears on advance notice, submits that the property in question has been booked for The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. unauthorized construction from ground floor to third floor on 03.05.2024. 3.

He submits that appropriate action for demolition of the unauthorized construction in the property in question shall be taken expeditiously and in any event, within a period of six weeks from today. 4.

It is further submitted that respondent no.1/MCD shall forthwith inspect the property in question and in case, any unauthorized construction is found to be ongoing, requisite steps shall be taken to bring the same to an immediate halt.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition at this stage; the same is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.

Needless to say, in case there is any deficiency in the action taken by the respondent no.1/MCD, the petitioner shall be entitled to avail appropriate legal remedies, in accordance with law. 7.

The SHO, PS Kotwali, is directed to provide necessary assistance to the MCD for the purpose of any action proposed to be taken by the MCD. 8.

Let a compliance affidavit be filed by the respondent no.1/MCD and respondent no.2/SHO, within a period of eight weeks from today.
