On the last date of hearing, it was noted that the parties have been able to arrive at an amicable settlement before Samadhan, Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, a copy of which was also placed on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner had sought time to inform the learned counsel for respondent No.1 of the next date of hearing. Today, learned counsel for the appellant submits that the order was communicated to the learned counsel for respondent No.1 through e-mail, however, none appears on behalf of respondent No.1.

A copy of the Settlement Agreement dated 18.02.2026 has been placed on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in terms of the Settlement Agreement, the parties have agreed upon a consolidated amount of Rs.2,00,000/- to be paid by the appellant to respondent No.1, out of which a sum of Rs.68,462/- already stands paid to respondent No.1 by way of Demand Draft No.413893 dated 12.02.2026 drawn on State Bank of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. India, a copy whereof is also annexed with the Settlement Agreement. 4.

Learned counsel further submits that the appellant has also deposited a sum of Rs.1,31,538/- with the Commissioner, PAO(C), Office of the Chief Labour Commissioner, vide DD No.025006 dated 08.04.2021. He submits that the said amount is lying deposited with the aforesaid office and that the appellant has no objection if the said amount is released to the respondent. 5.

The Settlement Agreement is taken on record and the parties are made bound by the same.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to the PAO(C), Office of the Chief Labour Commissioner, to release the aforesaid amount, along with interest accrued thereupon, to the respondent. 7.

A copy of this order be communicated to the respondent No.1 as well as Chief Labour Commissioner.

It is needless to state that, in case respondent No.1 has any further grievance with respect to the present Settlement Agreement, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
