Ms. Sharma, submits that all the eye witnesses have been examined and since only eight witnesses are remaining, the trial is directed to be expedited.

The present FIR was registered in the year 2015 and the chargesheet came to be filed in the same year. The charges were framed on 11.07.2016. 3.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the prosecution has cited 31 witnesses, out of which 21 have been examined and two have been dropped.

Considering the fact that the trial is pending for the last eight years and only the examination of formal witnesses is pending, the Trial Court shall expedite the hearing and make an endeavour to conclude the trial within nine months from the next date of hearing. 5.
