This is an Application filed by the Applicant under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking Interim Bail for a period of six weeks on medical and humanitarian grounds. The Applicant is presently in judicial custody in connection with FIR No. 351/2016, registered at P.S. Lajpat Nagar, District South-East, New Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 302 / 482 / 120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959. 2.
The learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that the mother of the Applicant underwent Uterus Removal Surgery (Hysterectomy) on 16.06.2026 and that the Applicant, being her only son, would be required to render personal attendant care for her post-operative recovery. 3.

It is further submitted that, in the past, the Applicant has been granted interim bail by this Court vide orders dated 27.09.2018, 05.04.2019, 04.07.2019 and by the learned Trial Court for the period from 15.11.2023 to 28.11.2023 and that on each of these occasions, the Applicant duly complied with the conditions of interim bail and surrendered before the Court within the stipulated time.

On 12.06.2026, the medical treatment papers of the Applicant's mother were handed over to the learned APP, who sought time to verify the same. Pursuant thereto, a Status Report dated 17.06.2026 has been placed on record. The Court has perused the said Status Report, which states that the medical treatment papers submitted by the Applicant have been verified and found to be genuine and that the Applicant's mother underwent surgery on 16.06.2026.

In light of the above, the Applicant is released on interim bail for a period of four weeks subject to the following conditions: i.
The Applicant shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent. ii.
The Applicant shall provide his contact number to the Investigating Officer ("IO") and shall keep it in active mode during the period of interim bail so that, if required, the Applicant may be contacted. The Applicant shall not switch off, or change the same without prior intimation to the IO concerned, during the period of interim bail. iii.
The Applicant will furnish his permanent address to the IO and in case of change of residential address; the same will be intimated to the IO, and this Court by way of an affidavit.

iv.
The Applicant shall not leave the country without prior permission of the learned Trial Court.

Upon expiry of period of interim bail, the Applicant shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent.

A copy of this Order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent for necessary information and compliance.
