This application is filed seeking anticipatory bail to the accused Rajesh Lakda.

Learned APP for the State who is present on advance notice accepts notice.

The case of the prosecution is that the present FIR No.742/2023 registered under Section 323/341/354/506/34 IPC in police station Ranhola, is based on the complaint filed by Kusumlata w/o Satish Lakda, who is the sister-in-law (bhabi) of the present applicant, who is her dewar.

some long pending dispute over a piece of land, which led to the current conflict. It is alleged in the FIR that the present applicant, during fight inflicted stab wounds with a knife upon the husband of the complainant. However, the MLC of the husband i.e. Satish Lakda does not reveal any injuries in the nature of incised wound or otherwise to suggest any knife wounds.

Learned counsel for the applicant points out that co-accused Jasbir Lakda, son of the applicant, has already been enlarged on bail. 8.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the present application is allowed.

In case of arrest, the present applicant shall be released on bail on furnishing personal as well as surety bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer (IO). He shall join the investigation as and when required by the IO. 10.

The bail application stands disposed of.
