This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, praying for a direction to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate to expedite the adjudication of the Execution Petitions filed in CR Case No. 2311/2016 (earlier Case No. 152/2012) titled as Amita Singh v. Jagat Singh and to take measures towards realisation of the amount outstanding to be paid as an interim maintenance in the Execution Petitions 109/2016, 49/2022 and 08/2024.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn my attention to the orders dated 10.01.2023 and 06.05.2023, which reflect that the respondent no.2 was browbeating the learned Presiding Officer instead The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of paying the interim maintenance. He has also drawn my attention to the order dated 22.12.2021 whereby, the respondent has been restrained from encashing any of his nine FDs maintained by him with the UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch, till further orders. He further complained that the follow up action on these FDs has, however, not been taken by the learned Magistrate. 4.
Having considered the contents of the petition, the learned Metropolitan Magistrate is requested to expedite on the adjudication of the Execution Petitions without granting any adjournment to the respondent. Further action pursuant to the order dated 22.12.2021 be also taken with respect to the FDs, in accordance with law. 5.
The petition is disposed of with the above direction. 6.
A copy of this order be sent to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate for ensuring compliance.
