% 01.08.2019 The present writ of habeas corpus has been filed by the petitioner/father seeking production of his minor girl child Kumkum before this Court. Today, the State has produced Ms. Kumkum before this Court. Learned counsel for the State, states that the Child Welfare Committee, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, has handed over the custody of the said child to her mother.

Ms. Kumkum who is personally present in Court, states that she would like to reside with her parents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner admits that Ms. Kumkum is residing with the petitioner and his wife.
