The present application has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking extension of the interim bail granted to the Applicant/Petitioner by this Court vide order dated 29.05.2026 in Bail Application No. 1567/2026 in FIR No. 337/2024 registered at Police Station Patparganj Industrial Area under Sections 406/408/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 4.

Learned counsel for the Applicant/Petitioner submits that the Applicant was granted interim bail to take care of his wife and to complete the admission formalities of his two children. He submits that the admission formalities of only one child could be completed. It is further submitted that the Petitioner/Applicant's bank account bearing No. 1813859243 has been frozen The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. by the bank authorities due to a transaction mismatch, on account of which he has been unable to make the requisite payment for the admission of his other child. Learned counsel submits that a certificate issued by Kotak Mahindra Bank in this regard has been placed on record. Accordingly, it is prayed that the interim bail granted to the Petitioner/Applicant be extended. 5.

Learned APP for the State submits that sufficient leniency has already been shown to the Petitioner/Applicant by granting interim bail. He submits that the ground now sought to be urged is merely an excuse and that the certificate purportedly issued by Kotak Mahindra Bank is yet to be verified. 6.

Let the State verify the said document and file a status report before the next date of hearing.

In the meanwhile, the Petitioner/Applicant shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent in terms of the order dated 29.05.2026. 8.

The application is disposed of.
