Appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the award dated 22.01.2024 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs.26,21,940/- along with interest @ 8% p.a. from the date of filing of the claim petition.

After comprehensive discussion, it is agreed between the parties that the appellant(s) shall get enhanced amount of Rs.9,00,000/- as lump sum compensation over and above the award of the learned Tribunal as full and final compensation. Ld. Counsel for the appellant submits that enhancement amount be released.

In view of the above settlement, respondent insurance company is granted 06 weeks time to deposit the said enhanced amount before the concerned Tribunal failing which it shall carry 9% interest on delayed The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
