O R D E R

% 08.03.2025 Appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the award dated 06.01.2024 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs.37,50,624/- along with interest @ 7% p.a. from the date of filing of the claim petition.

We have interacted with the learned Counsel/parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, it is agreed between the parties that appellant shall be entitled to lump sum enhanced compensation of Rs.2,40,000/- over and above the award of the Tribunal as full and final compensation.

In view of the above, respondent-insurance company is directed to deposit Rs.2,40,000/- before the Registrar General of this Court within a period of five weeks, failing which the same shall carry interest @ 7% per annum on the delayed deposit.

direct that sum of Rs. 40,000/- each shall be kept in the FD of the Nationalised Bank for R-2 to R-4 respectively and the same may be released to them after they attain the age of majority. The balance amount of Rs. 40,000/- each shall be released to appellant Nos. 1, 5 and 6 respectively on furnishing requisite formalities.

The present appeal alongwith the pending application(s), if any, is disposed of with directions in terms of the foregoing settlement. A copy of this order be sent to concerned Ld. Tribunal with LCR, if requisitioned and received.
