W.P.(C) 6482/2019 The petitioner assails the order dated 28.03.2018, whereby the petitioner's Original Application No.1130/2018 was dismissed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (CAT/ Tribunal). The Tribunal by the common order dated 20.03.2018 has

dismissed several Original Applications, wherein the applicants had sought the relief that their applications for the posts of TGT advertised by the respondents be considered despite the fact that they did not have the CTET qualification till the cut-off date by when the applications could be made, which was 15.06.2012. The petitioners acquired the said CTET qualification after the said cut-off date, and on that premise, sought consideration of their applications.

We have rejected several other writ petitions raising the similar plea on the premise that such an exception would lead to discrimination against others who did not apply against the posts in question on account of the requirement of clearance of CTET test being made an essential qualification.
