This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the learned sole Arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Memorandum of Understanding dated 29.11.2018. 2.

The mandate of the learned Arbitrator was extended with the consent of the parties by a period of six months, which expired on 22.02.2024.

I am informed that the proceedings are at the stage of evidence. 4.

Mr. Vikram Hegde, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.
