This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present interim bail application has been filed by the Applicant under Section 483 read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the 'BNSS') seeking grant of interim bail in FIR No. 0007/2023, Police Station Sarita Vihar, Delhi, registered under Sections 376, 328, 494, 495, 450, 506, 509 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred to as the 'IPC').

The Status Report has been filed by the State. Let the same be taken on record.

Learned APP for the State submits that father of the Petitioner suffered only with chest pain and he has been discharged from the hospital now on 17.06.2026.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is the sole breadwinner of the family and that his father requires his care and attention. He further submits that only eight criminal cases are pending against the Petitioner.

Learned APP for the State submits that the regular bail application of the Petitioner was dismissed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 06.05.2026. He further submits that the allegations against the Petitioner are under Sections 376/34 IPC.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that only eight criminal cases are pending against the Petitioner and that the State's assertion regarding fourteen pending cases is incorrect, as some of the FIRs have been reflected twice in the list.

The affidavit filed by the Applicant in terms of Practice Direction No. 178/Rules/DHC dated 18.03.2026, issued pursuant to the decision of the Supreme Court in Zeba Khan v. State of U.P. & Ors., Criminal Appeal No. 825/2026, is already on record.

Considering that the father of the Petitioner has already been discharged from the hospital, the allegations against the Petitioner are serious in nature, and no change in circumstances has occurred since the dismissal of the regular bail application by the Coordinate Bench on 06.05.2026, this Court is not inclined to grant interim bail to applicant. 10.

Accordingly, the present application is dismissed.

Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of. 11.
