The petitioner, who is working as a Laboratory Assistant in respondent No.1- Deen Dayal Upadhyay College ["College"], has filed this writ petition for several service related claims, including a claim for unpaid salary, House Rent Allowance, arrears of Modified Assured Career Progression, Child Education Allowance and revision of Annual Performance Appraisal Report assessment.

Having regard to the variety and nature of the reliefs sought, I am of the view that the College should be given an opportunity first to look into the petitioner's complaints, and take an appropriate decision. Prerna Dhingra, learned counsel for the petitioner, does not object to such a course.

Ms. Beenashaw Soni, learned counsel for the College, submits that a number of petitioner's claims appear to be belated/barred by delay. The contention of Ms. Dhingra, on the other hand, is that representations made to the concerned Authority since the year 2022 have gone unanswered despite several reminders. My attention is drawn to a communication dated 27.11.2022, by which the College has answered the demand of 9 days' salary, but stated that the other demands remain pending.

Be that as it may, I am of the view that the College can decide all the petitioner's claims in accordance with law. This direction is not intended to foreclose the contention with regard to delay on either side. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of, with the direction that the petition and its annexures will be considered as a representation before the College, which will be disposed of in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from today.

Pending application also stands disposed of.
