This Petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Sections 29A(4) and 29A(5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, inter alia, seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of three months from the expiry of the mandate, i.e., from 24.06.2026. 2.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, as previously extended on 06.01.2025 under Section 29A(3) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, is due to expire on 24.06.2026. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner further submitted that arguments in the proceedings before the Arbitral Tribunal stand concluded and extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of three months to facilitate the Arbitral Tribunal in making and publishing the arbitral award is required. 3.

Issue Notice. The learned Counsel for the Respondent accepts Notice.

Considering that the present arbitration proceedings are at the stage of making and publishing the arbitral award, at joint request of the Parties, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is hereby extended for a period of three months with effect from 24.06.2026. 5.

Accordingly, the present Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
