The present petition has been filed seeking release of the petitioner along with co-convicts on first spell of furlough granted by the respondent for a period of three (3) weeks vide order dated 15th May, 2026 in connection with FIR No. 81/2010 registered at Police Station-Sadar Bazar under Section 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ("IPC"). 2.

It is submitted that the petitioner had approached this Court vide W.P.(CRL.) 1725/2026. In the said petition vide order dated 01st June, 2026, the statement of the respondent was recorded that the petitioner shall be released after seven-eight days. However, the petitioner has not been released as yet. Thus, the present petition has been filed. 3.

Perusal of the order clearly shows that the competent authority has already allowed the release of the petitioner herein on first spell of furlough along with other co-convicts.
