This is the second call in the matter. There was no appearance on behalf of the Petitioners on the first call. None appears on the second call. 2.
This petition was filed on behalf of the Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking the following reliefs:- "a. Direct the Respondent No. 2,3 i.e. Police to provide adequate Security to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioners. b. Direct the respondent No. 2 and 3 to take necessary action against the culprit in accordance with law."

Status Report has been filed in which it is stated that Petitioners No.1 and 2 are relatives and had solemnized their marriage on 08.07.2022 in Arya Samaj Mandir located at 74-B, Khanna Market, Tis Hazari, Delhi. Parents and family members of Petitioner No.2 were against the marriage. trigger of the present petition was the alleged threats meted out to them by family members of Petitioner No.2.

From the Status Report, it is revealed that both Petitioners are living in the parental house of Petitioner No.1. Petitioners were provided with mobile numbers of the beat staff at that point in time, on which they were free to contact in case of any need or problem and that the beat staff and SI Manoj Chahar posted at the relevant time were in regular touch of the Petitioners. Parents of Petitioner No.2 were also contacted on 04.12.2022 and they assured that they will not interfere in the lives of the Petitioners. It is also stated in paragraph 6 of the Status Report that recent enquiry from Petitioners has revealed that no further threats have been extended to them and they are living happily in their house.

In view of the Status Report, no further order is required to be passed in this case.

Petition is dismissed.
